Bearded Iris at Sunrise is an acrylic painting inspired by my grandmother and mothers gardens and affinity for Iris.’ It is also inspired by the illustration style of folk art. Not perfect, but also illustrative.

Painted in acrylic on a wood panel, this original work has a softly textured, painterly quality that feels both collected and organic. Its intimate scale makes it an easy piece to layer into a gallery wall or place on a shelf, console, or bedside table.
